  • Lines added to the account via COR or BAN-to-BAN moves, conversion from NCC/SCNC to normal Postpaid, and lines resumed from cancel do not qualify for this requirement.
  • If a customer canceled a voice line within the past 90 days (excluding CORs and No Installs), the line must be resumed before they can add a brand-new voice line to qualify.

Payout
  • The free/discounted line bill credit starts within 2 bill cycles from activation.
  • Customers keep the credit for as long as they meet the promo requirements. If the customer changes to an eligible Go5G Next plan during or after the promotion window, the enrolled line will be discounted to $10 after AutoPay discount or $15 without AutoPay discount.
  • Credit applies to the voice line charge only. Chargeable add-ons greater than $0 will be the customer’s responsibility to pay.
  • Customers on Essentials or other taxes and fees excluded plans pay taxes on the free line/discounted line.
  • Customers must meet all requirements to get enrolled within 14 days from the initial qualifying event. For example, if a customer wants to participate in this promo but they only activate 2 lines to start, all additional new lines must be activated within 14 days of each other to get enrolled.

To keep this free or discounted line credit
  • For existing accounts: To validate eligibility, a customer’s total number of active voice lines was captured on the promo's announce date of (April 22, 2025). We add the number of newly-activated voice lines required for this promo, which includes the free/discounted line, to this number. That final, combined number of active voice lines must be maintained for at least 1 year after enrollment to continue receiving credits.
    Example: An account with 1 active voice line on April 22, 2025, must activate 2 new voice lines to enroll, and they do so on April 24, 2025. They must then maintain all 3 voice lines for 1 full year after promo enrollment (April 24, 2026).
  • For new and existing accounts: After 1 year of enrollment, customers must keep at least 2 paid voice lines AND the free/discounted new line that was activated to enroll in this promo to continue to receive the credit.
  • No Install cancellations for voice lines will not impact the free/discounted line credits.

Review & take action

  1. Go over the promo details and these advisements with your customer so they understand what to do to get and keep this promo:

     Your credits should begin within your first bill cycle after activation, but in some cases, it may take up to 2 bill cycles to begin. If you don't see a credit on your first bill, don't worry. You'll see a double credit on your second bill.

    To keep the free/discounted line credit, you must keep at least 2 paid voice lines along with the new free or discounted voice line activated under this promo to keep the free/discounted line credit.

    If you cancel a voice line or change to an ineligible rate plan and lose your free or discounted line credits, you have 90 days to resume the canceled line or switch back to an eligible rate plan. You will not receive any credits that were missed.

  2. Confirm customer is on or changing to a qualifying rate plan.
  3. Help customers with their new account or new line activation.
     

T-Mobile for Business: Digital Checkout must be created and accepted within the promo period to qualify.

Reminders

  • Customers can find the Promo code and Bill name and their free/discounted line credits on their bill statement.
  • You can see the credits in the Frontline Promo Dashboard and in Samson on the Discount screen.
  • The free/discounted line credits discount codes for this promo are 25Q22F, 25Q22P and 25Q22S.
  • This promo is for a limited time only and subject to change and should be communicated to customers in this way.

FAQs

Customers shouldn't cancel an existing voice line with the intention of replacing it with a newly activated voice line to take advantage of this promo, even if the cancellation happens after the new voice line activation.

Customers should never be told to cancel lines, before or after a promotion, in an effort to qualify or justify a promotion. If a customer does not need additional lines, explore other promotions or discuss device price points. Driving CHURN to close sales is not the right thing to do.

The free/discounted line credit applies to newly activated lines with logic this way:

  • AAL lines with subscriber-level MRC receive the credit first before lines that are included in a family/pooled plan MRC 
  • Lines with lowest MRC receive the credit
  • If multiple lines have same lowest MRC, lines with earliest activation date/time receive the credit
