  • Customers are required to have a minimum of one voice line to be eligible to add a SyncUP TRACKER to their account. If customers are activating a new BAN, activate the voice line(s) separately before adding the SyncUP TRACKER line.
  • Lines added to the account via Change of Responsibility (COR) or BAN-to-BAN moves, converted from NCC/SCNC to normal Postpaid, and lines resumed from cancel do not qualify for this requirement.
  • If a customer canceled an IoT line within the past 90 days (excluding CORs and No Installs), the line must be resumed before they can add a brand-new IOT line to qualify.

Automatic enrollment in monthly bill credits for one SyncUP TRACKER line activated during the promo period.
  • With AutoPay: $1 / line = $10 Tracker line - $5 Autopay discount - $4 Tracker line discount
  • Without AutoPay: $2 / line = $10 Tracker line - $8 Tracker line discount
    Note: AutoPay customers may receive a maximum of 8 AutoPay discounts per account. If the customer reaches the limit (8), then they will receive the discount without AutoPay price on the additional lines over 8.

Customers who enroll in a device promotion must maintain line of service and EIP tied to the promotion to receive the full value of the offer. If either is closed or cancelled, the monthly credits will stop.

Customers must meet all requirements to get enrolled within 14 days of the initial qualifying event. For example, if a customer wants to participate in this promo but they only activate the SyncUP line, the equipment purchase must be completed within 14 days to get enrolled.

Limits

12 SyncUP TRACKERS and associated service discount per account

To keep this discounted line credit:

  • To validate eligibility, a customer’s total number of active SyncUP TRACKER lines was captured on the promo's announce date of (February 18, 2025). We add the number of newly-activated SyncUP TRACKER lines required for this promo, which includes the free/discounted line, to this number. That final, combined number of active SyncUP TRACKER lines must be maintained for at least 1 year after enrollment to continue receiving credits. 
    Example: An account with 2 active SyncUP TRACKER lines on February 18, 2025, must activate 1 new SyncUP TRACKER line to enroll, and they do so on February 24, 2025. They must then maintain all 3 SyncUP TRACKER lines for 1 full year after promo enrollment (February 24, 2026).
  • After 1 year of enrollment, customers must keep the free/discounted new line that was activated to enroll in this promo to continue to receive the credit.
  • No Install cancellations for SyncUP TRACKER lines will not impact the discounted line credits.
  • Other line type cancellations including Voice, MI, or T-Mobile Internet will not impact the discounted line credits.

Review & take action

  1. Go over the offer details and these advisements with your customers so they understand what to do to get and keep this offer:

    You'll receive the offer value as monthly credits on each eligible SyncUP TRACKER line. Your credits should begin within your first bill cycle after activation, but in some cases, it may take up to 2 bill cycles to begin. If you don't see a credit on your first bill, don't worry. You'll see a double credit on your second bill.
    If you cancel a SyncUP TRACKER line or change to an ineligible rate plan and lose your credits, you have 90 days to resume the canceled line or switch back to an eligible rate plan. You will not receive any credits that were missed.
    Your promotional credits will be paid out for the full term of the EIP with no means to speed up their payout. Additionally, if you are enrolling July 1, 2024, or later, you must maintain the line of service and the EIP tied to the promotion to receive the full value of the offer. If either is closed or cancelled, the monthly credits will stop.
    If you have a larger down payment, you may see a second bill credit with the same description on your bill. We apply this second bill credit to make up the difference for your higher out of pocket expense when your required down payment is greater than the offer value.
  2. Confirm customer is on, or changing to, a qualifying rate plan from the list above.
  3. Help customers place their device orders on EIP with required new line activation(s).
    • Important: The new device EIP must be associated with the new activation.
    •  For ship-to orders, verify the correct email address is entered and remind customers they MUST sign their EIP agreement within 48 hours, or their order will be canceled.

Retail: Do NOT call the RSL to request Temp Double of the customer’s available ECL to make the customer eligible for the offer. These requests will be denied. Review Retail Support Line (RSL) before engaging RSL for additional support.

T-Mobile for Business: Digital Checkout, including any EIP agreements that may be required, must be created and accepted within the promo period to qualify.

FAQs

Customers shouldn't cancel an existing IoT line with the intention of replacing it with a newly activated IoT line to take advantage of this offer, even if the cancellation happens after the new IoT line activation.

Customers should never be told to cancel lines, before or after a promotion, in an effort to qualify or justify a promotion. If a customer does not need additional lines, explore other promotions or discuss device price points. Driving CHURN to close sales is not the right thing to do.
