  • Lines added to the account via Change of Responsibility (COR) or BAN-to-BAN moves, converted from NCC/SCNC to normal Postpaid, and lines resumed from cancel do not qualify for this requirement.
  • If customers canceled Internet line within the past 90 days (excluding CORs and No Installs), the line must be resumed before they can add a brand-new Internet line to qualify.

To confirm a customer is included in the Segment:

  • In ATLAS: 
    1. Open Atlas and verify the account. 
    2. Under the Account profile section, you'll see the Segment listed as Internet_Promo_ID260361
  • In Tapestry: 
    1. From the account home page, click Go to account profile.
    2. On the Profile Details page, click View Segments.
    3. On the View Segments page, Internet_Promo_ID260361 will display if eligible.

Your credits should begin within your first bill cycle after activation, but in some cases, it may take up to 2 bill cycles to begin. If you don't see a credit on your first bill, don't worry. You'll see two credits on your second bill.

  1. Confirm customer is on, or changing to, a qualifying rate plan.
  2. Help customers place their Home or Small Business Internet line activation.

FAQs

Customers shouldn't cancel an existing voice line with the intention of replacing it with a newly activated voice line to take advantage of this promo, even if the cancellation happens after the new voice line activation.

Customers should never be told to cancel lines, before or after a promotion, in an effort to qualify or justify a promotion. If a customer does not need additional lines, explore other promotions, or discuss device price points. Driving CHURN to close sales is not the right thing to do.
