  • Lines added to the account via COR or BAN-to-BAN moves, conversion from NCC/SCNC to normal Postpaid, and lines resumed from cancel do not qualify for this requirement.
  • If a customer canceled a voice line within the past 90 days (excluding CORs and No Installs), the line must be resumed before they can add a brand-new voice line to qualify.

Payout
  • Customers pay taxes and fees on the free/discounted line.
  • The free/discounted line bill credit starts within 2 bill cycles from activation.
  • Customers keep the credit for as long as they meet the promo requirements. 
  • Credit applies to the voice line charge only. Chargeable add-ons greater than $0 will be the customer’s responsibility to pay.

If the customer changes to an eligible Go5G Next plan during or after the promotion window, the enrolled line will receive a credit down to $10 after AutoPay discount or $15 without AutoPay discount.

Paid lines required

At least 1 paid voice line required

  • Lines receiving any discount except Insider cannot be used as the qualifying paid voice line (e.g. lines receiving Exclusive Hometown Discount or Magenta Complete service discounts cannot be used as a paid voice line). 
  • Existing customers with 1+ voice lines must activate 2 new voice lines on their account (Important: Customers must have a qualifying existing BAN as of October 14, 2025, to be eligible for this promo).
  • Existing customers with HSI or BTS-only must add 1 paid voice line to their account  then activate 2 new voice lines.

Exception: Paid lines that qualified customers for the previous promos do not count towards the required paid line counts:

  • 2016 Friends and Family 2 Lines On Us
  • T-Mobile ONE 4 lines for $35 / 4th line free promo

To keep this free/discounted line credit
  • To validate eligibility, a customer’s total number of active voice lines was captured on the promo's announce date of (October 14, 2025). We add the number of newly-activated voice lines required for this promo, which includes the free/discounted line, to this number. That final, combined number of active voice lines must be maintained for at least 1 year after enrollment to continue receiving credits. 

    Example:     An account with 1 active voice line on October 14, 2025, must activate 2 new voice lines to enroll, and they do so on October 16, 2025. They must then maintain all voice lines for 1 full year after promo enrollment (October 16, 2026).
  • After 1 year of enrollment, customers must keep at least 1 paid voice line AND the free/discounted new line that was activated to enroll in this promo to continue to receive the credit.
  • No Install cancellations for voice lines will not impact the free/discounted line credits.

Review & take action

  1. Go over the promo details and these advisements with your customer so they understand what to do to get and keep this promo:

     Your credits should begin within your first bill cycle after activation, but in some cases, it may take up to 2 bill cycles to begin. If you don't see a credit on your first bill, don't worry. You'll see a double credit on your second bill.

    You will lose the free or discounted line credits if you cancel ANY voice lines on the account within 1 year of enrollment, including the new free or discounted line. After 1 year, you must keep at least 2 paid voice line along with the new free or discounted voice lines activated under this promo to keep the free/discounted line credits

    If you cancel a voice line or change to an ineligible rate plan and lose your free/discounted line credits, you have 90 days to resume the canceled line or switch back to an eligible rate plan. You will not receive any credits that were missed.

  2. Confirm customer is on or changing to a qualifying rate plan.
  3. Help customers with their new account or new line activation.
     

T-Mobile for Business: Digital Checkout must be created and accepted within the promo period to qualify.

  • Customers can find the Promo code and Bill name and their free/discounted line credits on their bill statement.
  • You can see the credits in the Frontline Promo Dashboard and in Samson on the Discount screen.
  • The free/discounted line credits discount codes for this promo are 25Q45P, 25Q45F, 25Q45S, 25Q45TP and 25Q45TF.
  • This promo is for a limited time only and subject to change and should be communicated to customers in this way.
  • This promo's Bill name changed from "Line Discount ID250739" > "BOGO Service Promo with New Lines (ID250739)."
  • Eligibility for a device promotion on a free or discounted line depends on how and when that line was added. Free lines are not eligible for device promotional credits when upgrading. Review Line / Service Promotional Bill Credits for more details.

FAQs

Customers shouldn't cancel an existing voice line with the intention of replacing it with a newly activated voice line to take advantage of this promo, even if the cancellation happens after the new voice line activation.

Customers should never be told to cancel lines, before or after a promotion, in an effort to qualify or justify a promotion. If a customer does not need additional lines, explore other promotions or discuss device price points. Driving CHURN to close sales is not the right thing to do.

The free/discounted line credit applies to newly activated lines with logic this way:

  • AAL lines with subscriber-level MRC receive the credit first before lines that are included in a family/pooled plan MRC 
  • Lines with lowest MRC receive the credit
  • If multiple lines have same lowest MRC, lines with earliest activation date/time receive the credit
