  1. Go over the promo details and these advisements with your customer so they understand what to do to get and keep this promo:


     You'll receive the promo value as 24 monthly credits. These credits may begin within your 1-2 bill cycles after purchase. If you don't see a credit on your first bill, don't worry. You'll see a double credit on your second bill.

     Your promotional credits will be paid out for the full term of the EIP with no means to speed up their payout. Additionally, if you cancel service prior to the full 24 months, any remaining promotional credits may stop.

     If you have a larger down payment, you may see a second bill credit with the same description on your bill. We apply this second bill credit to make up the difference for your higher out of pocket expense when your required down payment is greater than the promo value.

  2. Confirm customer is on, or changing to, a qualifying rate plan from SOC Group #78.
  3. Help customers place their device order(s) on EIP with required trade-in and new line activation.
    • Important: The new phone EIP must be associated with the new activation.
    • For ship-to orders, verify the correct email address is entered and remind customers they MUST sign their EIP agreement within 48 hours, or their order will be canceled.

Retail: Do NOT call the RSL to request Temp Double of the customer’s available ECL to make the customer eligible for the promo. These requests will be denied. Review Retail Support Line (RSL) before engaging RSL for additional support.

T-Mobile for Business: Digital Checkout, including any EIP agreements that may be required, must be created and accepted within the promo period to qualify.

Since this promo requires a new MI line activation, customers shouldn't cancel an existing MI line with the intention of replacing it with a newly activated MI line to take advantage of this promo, even if the cancellation happens after the new MI line activation.

Customers should never be told to cancel lines, before or after a promotion, in an effort to qualify or justify a promotion. If a customer does not need additional lines, explore other promotions, or discuss device price points. Driving CHURN to close sales is not the right thing to do.
