What's the deal?

Qualifying plans

T-Mobile ONE Family (including T-Mobile ONE Family w/ONE Plus versions) TE & TI plans

These plans are only eligible on accounts that qualified under the 8 lines or less rule, and then change the plan due to adding lines that put them outside of the 8 line limit.

Customers must be on a qualifying plan at the time of activation or set up a future-dated plan change during the promo period. Plan changes initiated after the promo period won't qualify customers.

Existing customers: 1 paid Voice line only

Add a line

New customers must activate at least 3 new Voice lines (2 paid lines and 1 free line).

Existing customers must add at least 2 new Voice lines to an existing account with 1 Voice line only.

  • The following lines / line types do not qualify:
    • MI, Wearable, DIGITS, LineLink, Nest, and SyncUP lines
    • Lines added to the account via COR or BAN-to-BAN moves
      • Customers performing a COR to open a new account using an existing T-Mobile line, who then add two brand new lines will qualify.
      • Existing customers with more than one paid voice line who release all but one via COR, will qualify after the BAN reflects only one paid voice line and two brand new voice lines are added to the account within the promotional period.
    • Lines converted from NCC/SCNC to normal Postpaid
    • Lines resumed from cancellation
    • Lines with $0 MRC
  • Future-dated activations, Ship-to activations, and T-Mobile for Business orders placed during the promo period qualify.
  • If customers canceled a line within 90 days, they are not eligible for this promotion unless they resume the canceled line and add a new line.

  3. Review these advisements with your customers and make sure your customer understands:

    New customer: To get this offer, you must activate at least 3 new Voice lines of service on a qualified T-Mobile ONE Family plan during the promotional period.

    Existing customer: To get this offer, you must have single Voice line account and activate at least 2 new Voice lines of service on a qualified T-Mobile ONE Family plan during the promotional period.

    Your credits should begin within your first bill cycle after activation, but in some cases, it may take up to 2 bill cycles to begin. If you don't see a credit on your first bill, don't worry. You'll see a double credit on your second bill.

    You will receive a text message within 24 hours of qualification confirming your enrollment into the promotion.

    You will lose the free line credits if you cancel ANY lines on the account within one year after accepting this offer. After one year, you must keep at least 1 paid Voice line along with the paid Add a line and free line activated under this offer to keep the free line credits.

    If you cancel a line or change to an ineligible rate plan and lose your free line credits, you have 90 days to resume the canceled line or switch back to an eligible rate plan. You will not receive any credits that were missed.

  4. Processing the required activations/AALs and start any port-in requests.
    T-Mobile for Business: Orders must be placed within the promo period, and DocuSign must be created and completed within the promo period to qualify.

Customers are automatically enrolled within 24 hours of qualification.

  • You can only see the free line credits in Samson on the Discount screen (Actions > BAN Discount or Page Options > Subscriber Discount). Customers can only see their free line credits on their bill.
  • The free line credits display on the bill as Spring 19 3rd Line Free / Line Discount ID190001. The discount codes for this offer are 193LFB, 193LFBA, and 193LF.
  • On August 24, 2023, the bill name was updated to Line Discount ID190001.
  • Customers are responsible for all taxes and fees on free lines, if applicable.
  • This offer is for a limited time only and subject to change and should be communicated to customers in this way.
