Targeted customers, who are on an eligible rate plan, have at least two paid voice lines, and no more than two free or discounted lines, can add one additional voice line for free (via monthly bill credits) when they activate a new voice line on a qualifying plan. (Lines will remain free if the customer adds a line or changes plan to Go5G Next.)

Payout

Automatic enrollment in monthly bill credits for the line with the lowest MRC activated during the promo period.

  • The free / discounted line bill credit starts within 2 bill cycles from activation.
  • Customers keep the credit for as long as they meet the promo requirements.
  • Credit applies to the voice line charge only. Chargeable add-ons greater than $0 will be the customer’s responsibility to pay.
  • Customers on Essentials or other taxes and fees excluded plans pay taxes on the free/discounted line.

Review & take action

  1. To confirm a customer is included in the Segment:
    • In ATLAS: 
      1. Open Atlas and verify the account. 
      2. Under the Account profile section, you'll see the Segment listed as Loyalty BYOD Oct 2025.
    • In Tapestry: 
      1. From the account home page, click Go to account profile.
      2. On the Profile Details page, click View Segments.
      3. On the View Segments page, Loyalty BYOD Oct 2025 will display if eligible.
      4. Go over the promo details and these advisements with your customers so they understand what to do to get and keep this promo:

         Your credits should begin within your first bill cycle after activation, but in some cases, it may take up to 2 bill cycles to begin. If you don't see a credit on your first bill, don't worry. You'll see two credits on your second bill.

        You will lose the free or discounted line credits if you cancel ANY voice lines on the account within one year, including the new free or discounted line. After one year, you must keep at least 2 paid voice lines along with the new free or discounted voice line activated under this promo to keep the free / discounted line credits.

        If you cancel a voice line and lose your free/discounted line credits, you have 90 days to resume the canceled line or switch back to a family plan. You will not receive any credits that were missed.

      5. Confirm customer is on or changing to a qualifying rate plan from the SOC lookup tool above.
      6. Help customers place their new line activation.

  • Customers can find the Promo code and Bill name and their free/discounted line credits on their bill statement.
  • You can see the credits in the Frontline Promo Dashboard and in Samson on the Discount screen.
  • The free / discounted line credits discount codes for this promo are 25Q46F, 25Q46P, 25Q46S, 25Q46TF and 25Q46TP.
  • This promo is for a limited time only and subject to change and should be communicated to customers in this way.
  • Eligibility for a device promotion on a free or discounted line depends on how and when that was added. Free lines are not eligible for device promotional credits when upgrading. Review Line / Service Promotional Bill Credits for more details.

FAQs

Customers shouldn't cancel an existing voice line with the intention of replacing it with a newly activated voice line to take advantage of this promo, even if the cancellation happens after the new voice line activation.

 

Customers should never be told to cancel lines, before or after a promotion, in an effort to qualify or justify a promotion. If a customer does not need additional lines, explore other promotions, or discuss device price points. Driving CHURN to close sales is not the right thing to do.

The free line credit applies to newly activated lines with logic this way:

  • AAL lines with subscriber-level MRC receive the credit first before lines that are included in a family / pooled plan MRC 
  • Lines with lowest MRC receive the credit
  • If multiple lines have same lowest MRC, lines with earliest activation date/time receive the credit

Customers who have a free / discounted line from a previous promo activated before this current promo was announced can keep that free / discounted line and participate in this new promo if:

  • They have at least 2 paid lines on their account and must be on a family plan.
  • Their rate plan is eligible for both promos.

Exception: Paid lines that qualified customers for the previous promos do not count towards the required paid line counts:
